When Microsoft decided to release the ultimate version of Windows, Precision Lasers was enlisted to help create a bold new logo for their final operating system. The Windows 10 Desktop Laser was created by projecting a single laser through an acrylic lined cutout of the classic Windows logo in black cardboard. This created an iconic image that launched Windows 10 into the future while maintaining the product’s recognizable branding. Installed on the desktops of computers worldwide, our laser design is part of the daily lives of over a billion computer users every day.
