AIPER - GOOD LUCK DRIVER

Purpose of the Commercial

Aiper, a global leader in cordless robotic pool cleaners, commissioned this cinematic spot as part of their 2024 marketing push. The commercial was designed to position Aiper not simply as a household tool, but as a sleek, high-tech lifestyle product. The goal was to visually elevate the product beyond its function—showing it in a futuristic, aspirational light that reflects innovation, design, and sophistication.

The piece was one of several ads premiered during CES 2024 in Las Vegas, where Aiper debuted its new product lineup. It was featured on Aiper’s CES livestream and trade show booth, then rolled out across social platforms like YouTube and Facebook as a hero asset in the company’s digital campaign.

How the Commercial Was Used

The spot served multiple roles in Aiper’s brand storytelling. It was first unveiled in January 2024 at CES, one of the world’s largest stages for consumer technology, where it helped introduce Aiper’s new products to press, buyers, and the tech community. From there, it was deployed as part of a global digital advertising campaign, circulating widely on social media to target pool owners and tech-savvy consumers.

For PRECISION, the project was also an opportunity to showcase laser artistry in a consumer product commercial context. Unlike typical lifestyle footage of pool cleaners in backyards, this campaign presented the Aiper device as a premium, almost sci-fi object—its reveal framed with bold light and atmosphere.

Laser Banding: Creating a Unique Aesthetic

At the heart of the spot’s look is our proprietary Laser Banding technique. These are real, practical lasers—not CGI—captured entirely in-camera. Floating ribbons of laser light sweep around the product, bending and twisting in three-dimensional space.

The lasers form translucent curtains that surround the pool cleaner, mimic flowing water currents, and create glowing geometric frames that highlight the product’s design. As the camera moves, the light shifts in parallax, giving the impression that the device is suspended inside a living sculpture of light.

This practical technique gave the Aiper commercial a look unlike traditional tech ads. By embedding the product in a world of moving light, we emphasized its elegance and cutting-edge nature while making the visuals feel immersive, tactile, and cinematic.
